3. •        For the care and safety of our young dancers, children  
    ages 3-11 must be accompanied to the studio by a parent or
    guardian. Creative Movement classes are 45-minutes and all
    students are required to meet or wait for their parents inside
    the studio for pick-up. Children are not be permitted to exit the
    studio/waiting area unaccompanied, nor meet their parents
    downstairs.

  5. •        For Creative Movement and ITD-Ballet students,
    preparing for class means encouraging young dancers to visit
    the restroom prior to class.  Excluding ‘emergencies’, children
    are typically not allowed to leave the studio once classes have
    begun

  7. .•        Most parents are anxious to see their child succeed and
    often ask to come inside the studio to watch their children
    during class. Unfortunately, because we cannot accommodate
    all parents each class, it is studio policy that parents are not
    allowed in the studio once class has started.

  9. •        Registration forms & tuition in full are due on the first day
    of class, prior to class, unless other arrangements have been
    made. Payment arrangements can be made by contacting the
    Studio with your request. We accept cash or checks made
    payable to The Ballet Studio. There is a $25.00 handling
    charge for all checks returned unpaid. There is a $25.00 late
    fee.

  11. •        Tuition refunds are made only when The Ballet Studio
    cancels a class. Or, when a student drops a class within
    seven days of the first class.  All requests for refunds must be
    made verbally and in writing prior to the second week of
    classes. There are no exceptions.  

  13. •        Make up classes.  Make-up classes are only offered
    when the Ballet Studio cancels a class.  When space allows,
    students with excused, extended absences may schedule
    make ups.

  15. •        For studio closings due to Inclement weather, The Ballet
    Studio follows the City of Alexandria’s closing schedule for
    public schools. When the public schools are closed for the day
    or released early due to inclement weather, the Ballet Studio
    will be closed. When schools have a delayed start, morning
    classes only will be canceled at the Ballet Studio. And, on
    these days, parents should check our Website www.
    delraydance.com or call the studio for the status of
    afternoon/evening classes.
