| Youth Dance Scholarship- Boys ages 10-18 Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Youth Dance Scholarship program for boys ages 10-18. Sponsored by The Ballet Studio, the Youth Dance Scholarship program provides training in tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet for qualified recipients, at a reduced rate -- ranging from no cost to 50% of tuition and fees, for the 2012 school year. Youth Dance scholarships are awarded based on financial need, dance aptitude and a steadfast commitment to dance as an avenue to positive self expression, sound physical fitness, and greater self-esteem. The Ballet Studio’s Youth Dance Scholarship program is an outreach program committed to providing sound dance technique to young boys in the Alexandria and surrounding area. Our teachers and staff provide a studio environment that ensures each child the opportunity to achieve their goals and feel proud of their accomplishments. | The Ballet Studio Pre Professional Dance program is a tri-weekly course of study that includes Ballet, Jazz and Tap (or any three upper level classes). Tuition for the Winter/Spring 2012 Pre Professional Dance program of three classes per week is offered at the reduced rate of $750.00. Tuition for Jazz, Tap, Ballet/Pointe is $800.00. Students who complete a full year of classes through our pre professional program participate in the 2012 Ballet Studio performance/recital as Guest Artist performing additional dance numbers that highlight their training and individual talent. |
| The Ballet Studio Teen Dance Internship Program The Dance Internship program allows students to build their dance skill set through work study and student teaching positions at the Ballet Studio.
